Before Sunday Worship begins at 10:30 am, families and youth are invited to check in with Claire Young to make sure they are checked in for Worship. Then, at 10:30am, Youth will head downstairs together to begin Youth worship.
During this time, we learn bible stories, explore context and history, play games, have discussions, and engage with Jesus and his teachings. Our curriculum is justice-oriented, and follows the Lectionary Calendar, so lessons downstairs often match themes and verses discussed upstairs.
We hope that you will consider volunteering with our program. As many of you know, youth ministry is dependent upon the mentorship and participation of the adults within our community. When we baptize children in our tradition each one of us makes a promise to do our best to help teach and guide the children of our community in knowing the love of God.
