Before Sunday Worship begins at 10:30 am, families are invited to check in with Claire Young to make sure they have a lanyard and ID badge before church starts! Then, at 10:30, everyone will worship together in the sanctuary until Belong Kids are called to be dismissed.
Belong Kids will then go downstairs together following the Passing of the Peace for children’s worship. During this time, we learn bible stories, play games, watch videos, and have fun engaging with the Bible and its characters. Our curriculum follows the Lectionary Calendar, so lessons downstairs often match themes and verses discussed Upstairs.
We hope that you will consider volunteering with our program. As many of you know, children’s ministry is dependent upon the mentorship and participation of the adults within our community. When we baptize children in our tradition each one of us makes a promise to do our best to help teach and guide the children of our community in knowing the love of God.
